Gawith, Hoggarth & Co.'s Dark Birds Eye is a traditional, shag-cut blend manufactured from Dark-Fired whole leaf Virginias and mid-rib fine-cut Kentucky leaf, rolled and sliced into "birds eyes." Long preferred by fishermen and sailors due to its strength and easy-to-pack cut.
